We are stoked to announce our latest e360 theme, Augustine

This theme showcases some of the latest in mainstream website design and technology mixed with the expertise of our ministry strategists. Augustine was built from the ground up to help churches attract and engage their communities.

Check out some reasons why you’re going to love Augustine.

Grow Your Ministry Using The Following Website Features

Use a Video Background to Evoke Emotion

One of our favorite new features is the ability to have a looping video background, one of the fastest-growing trends in web design. With this added functionality, you can capture website visitor’s attention using subtle motion. It’s uniquely suited to provide your visitors an instant impression of your church story. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; video is 24,000 words a second.

We understand that a looping video might not be for everyone, so you can just as easily use a static image or rotating banner images.

Speak Uniquely to Your Different Audiences

Either way you decide to use the top image area, you can include a “smart section” text overlay that calls attention to a next step that encourages visitors to take action towards growth. What is a “smart section” you ask? Well, as technology advances, so does the ability to speak directly to your different audience segments (new, regular, engaged and mature) in a smart way. Basically, your website will know who is viewing your site. If they are a new visitor, they will be see special content just for them.

This is extremely exciting, because now your website can welcome new visitors and provide them with a warm greeting, while giving relevant information to the rest of your church community. No one gets left out.

Promote Your Latest Sermon

Have a latest sermon or sermon series you want to promote? The scrolling homepage has an area that beautifully showcases a featured sermon. This could easily be a solid color, or an image you use for all sermons or a specific sermon series graphic.

The sermon page has easy-to-use filters for people to easily find the sermons interesting to them.

These filters are customizable. Some common ways to filter include sermon series, categories, date, speaker, and campus.

Showcase Your Blog Posts

Blogs are a great way to start a conversation or discussion. They also help you distribute valuable content. But, if no ones sees your blog, it can lose its value, quickly.

With Augustine, there is a section directly on the homepage that calls special attention to your blog. Viewers can scroll through posts without leaving the homepage.
